The room itself contains 2 desks, a double bed, an en suite bathroom, a kitchenette, and plenty of storage space.

The building itself has free Wi-Fi, A Gym, A laundry room, a communal kitchen, cinema room, and a huge roof terrace with both indoor and outdoor areas, and a londis corner shop!

The location is perfect for students in Birmingham, literally just on the other side of the roundabout to Aston Uni, and the transport connections are good too. Plenty of bus stops around the building, a 10 minute walk to the tram, and 15 to New Street Station.

Another advantage to being in the heart of the city centre, you’re so close to so many job opportunities!

The rent for the Classic Studios at in onyx is £235 a week, which for the size of the room, the kitchenette, the quality of the whole building combined, and the location, is excellent value for the money.

As the money is quite higher than the standard en-suite bedroom, I’d recommend this room for couples! Me and my partner have spent the 23/24 academic year living here and liked it that much that we’ve rebooked for The 24/25 year, but as a different opportunity arose we have decided we’d like to pass the room on to whoever would like it!
