I have a large double bedroom available for the month of August located in Abbeyhill. There is a shared bathroom, living room and kitchen. Sainsburys and Lidl next door. The Playhouse theatre and Royal Mile are under a mile, a nice walk but there is also a good bus service. Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat is also less than a mile.
