Bills (including council tax, energy, water, broadband) come to £150 per month per person on average, so your rent + bills combined will be around £1000 per month.
The back garden was landscaped earlier this year, so is now very low maintenance. The house is located on a very quiet road, with no through traffic.
Key details: Our third housemate is moving in with his fiancé so we are looking for a new tenant to renew the Tenancy Agreement, which will commence on Sunday 18th August.
We have a good relationship with the landlord, who lives on a neighbouring street and always responds quickly if anything needs to be fixed.
Public transport: The house has a great location, with multiple transport options only a 10-15 minute walk away – including Wimbledon station (District Line, national rail services, Tram), South Wimbledon station (Northern Line), and Haydon Road station (Thameslink).
Amenities: There are multiple food and grocery options within 10-15 minutes walking distance. Wimbledon town centre has a wide range of shops and facilities, including multiple gyms, sporting facilities, a theatre, and several cinemas. South Park Gardens is the nearest green space, and is located at the end of the street.
Current household: We are two guys from England and Pakistan (Michael, 31 and Hassan, 26). We both have professional jobs, working for the civil service and a consultancy respectively. On average, we go into the office twice a week and remote work the rest of the time. We would ideally prefer for our next housemate to have a similar working pattern.
We are pretty chill, friendly, respectful, and like to keep the house tidy. We are a quiet house (not a party flat), and instead like to socialise out and about.
