My partner and I look after our home and have a sunny double room to rent out until the 27th of July!

A little about us:
Khal - a 30-year-old bar and event manager in the arts & entertainment industry. Mixed English and Malaysian. A friendly person who enjoys a drink, singing songs on the guitar, and sharing meaningful conversations. Comes with a background in fitness, but struggles to keep as active considering the exponential content on Netflix and food deliveries…
Vanessa - a 28-year-old who migrated from Italy 4 years ago in search of a different life. Worked within hospitality but is now a qualified Reiki instructor and pet sitter. A very spiritual, crazy cat lady who enjoys her own company, practising yoga, meditation and reading, who would be keen for someone to teach her tarot reading or alternative witchcraft!
Yogi & Bella - 6-month-old sibling kittens who are adorable, friendly, super naughty and love boxes!
And two new housemates (humans) who will be moving in next week!

Who we would like:
Someone open minded, LGBTQIA+ friendly, social but also has their own thing going on, considerate, hopefully with a sense of humour and MUST be tidy and clean! (Helpful if you have a healthy amount of OCD like us.)

The House:
Available immediately until July 27th 2023.

It’s a fully furnished 5-bedroom house with 1 room being utilised as a multipurpose yoga/workout/reading/meditation/reiki/music space. We have a basement which is really useful for extra storage, and a back yard where we do barbecues, workouts, gardening, and cocktails in the sun!

The rooms on offer is a double room, with most bills included ; council tax, super fast internet up to 900 mbps, gas and electricity. Water bill is an extra £10pm and additional monthly payment is asked to cover all shared household necessities that we never miss to provide - further details will be given on the next stage.

We're 5-10 mins walk from Upton Park tube station with a Tesco, Iceland, Lidl, Boots, Superdrug, and many more shops or a 10-minute bus ride to Stratford which has Westfield and more.
A holding deposit is required, and rent is paid on the 1st.
A minimum 1-month notice is needed in the unlikely event you decide to move out before the 27th of July.

We treat each other well and look after our space together. We have made this house our home and welcome our new flat mate who would like to join us here. We understand and respect that everyone needs their own privacy, and we would love to find another lovely human that can maintain the concept of this being a welcoming and trusting environment. We have our doors open whenever possible and make others feel they can be free in the whole house - much like our wonderful kittens!
