Large double room in Tooting Bec

Hello! Welcome to our house!

We are looking for a new housemate to fill a large double bedroom in our friendly house in Tooting Bec. The house itself is laid out over 3 floors, with 2 bathrooms and a big patio at the back. The location is right beside Tooting Common and a 10min walk to Tooting Bec tube station. We’re also very close to lots of restaurants, pubs, shops and supermarkets.

Most bills are included in the cost, as well as shared house essentials (like toilet rolls and cleaning supplies), but we usually have to pay extra for gas and electricity each month. This depends on usage, but tends to be somewhere between £15 and £30 extra each.

There are a total of 5 bedrooms in the house, and you would be sharing with 4 of us: Ellie, a 25-year-old working for a charity, Cat, a 26-year-old creative executive, Ciara, a 26-year-old working for a bank and Laura, a 36-year-old who also works in the charity sector.

We’ve become good friends, having all met through Spare Room, and would love to find someone who would fit in well with us. While we all have our own lives and hobbies, we quite often congregate in the living room to watch crap TV, have some drinks or just have a catch up. We maintain the shared spaces together and treat the house like a home. We're looking for someone who this appeals to as opposed to someone who’s just looking for a place to put their head down.

We are an LGBTQ+ friendly house and it is important that you are comfortable with this as our house includes Queer and trans people.
