Colebrook Close is a nearly century old private community development with extremely low density residency level. All blocks are two storeys only. The architecture was inspired by California style and the communal garden landscape reflects some tropical elements.
The property internally is decorated with ar deco features. A large single room or can be called a small double room (£750) is available from 4 Aug 2024.
There is a live in landlord in ths property, who holds a masters degree from G5 UK university and is a enterprenuer with travel expierence to 30+ countries and 5 continents. One can expect a life broadening and intellectually stimulating conversation to be held at times.
There is a bus stop outside the development and Putney Train station and East Putney Tube station are around 15 minutes walk.
✌️✌️✌️My answers to some of your potential questions:
✌️Background info -
I am owner, currently live here with my family, but they will relocate to Asia on 5 July, with me spending 50% time there and 50% here. hence i only need one room for myself, and renting out rest of rooms.
✌️How many people and who they are -
Total 4.5 people.
So I take one room, 50% of time here. One other male is my tenant from another property, who will act as house manager. Two new tenants have been secured.
All must be mature SINGLE professionals preferably. Now look for final tenant, female are more favourable.
✌️How many bathrooms to be shared -
1 WC plus 1 full shower room with toilet and basin. People are expected to clean after their own use. But if there is any slippage, my house manager will cover. The person who frequently create mess and not clean up will be reported to me and I will have a word and may ask them to leave if multiple offenses occur.
✌️Visitor rules -
Each visitor’s visit is a leisure to the hosting tenant, but a inconvenience to the rest of the house. So ideally, the less the better. E. g. Assume on average each person have visitor once a week, that’s 5 visitor attended nights in a 7 day week. It does put pressure on the shared facilities. So this is about the absolute maximum tolerance level. Individuals with less likely visitors are more favourable to us.
My house manager has no visitor, and I will have nearly no visitor.
It will also depend the quality of visitor, professional looking or not. How they behaves. Ideally they should stay in the host’s room as much as possible and reduce volume of speech.
✌️Parking -
There is one parking spot available in a private ungated compound, but cost £60 per month.
