A beautiful big double room is available from Saturday, 6th July 2024. The rent is £1,250 per month for a single person, or £1,750 per week for a couple, for a minimum tenancy of six months. Happy to consider short term lets at £400 per week.

It's a beautiful, bright, third floor apartment - recently renovated, stylish and spacious with a big lounge, homely kitchen and dining area, and very comfortable bedrooms.

You can't beat the location - on Castellain Road, just off Elgin Avenue, and only five minutes walk to Maida Vale underground station (Bakerloo Line).

With St John's Wood and Hampstead to the north and Kensington and Notting Hill to the south, Maida Vale is a highly desirable place to be located. It is a beautiful area with a village-like atmosphere. Its residential charm is made up of tree-lined streets, impressive stucco villas, and easy access to green spaces such as Regent's Park.

This apartment is shared with one friendly professional male. I'm a South African-born New Zealander and have been living in London for 11 years. I keep busy by working as a Director in the NHS and, prior to this, I worked all over the world in management consulting.

Things I'm into: Good vibes - people, music, food, wine, weather - meeting new people, travelling, keeping fit - F45, cycling - the outdoors, and the performing arts.

What else makes me happy? My family, flying, skiing, lying on beautiful beaches, dressing well, being kind, big airplanes, South of France, being generous, and coffee.

What do I want to do more of? Read interesting books, experiencing new things, taking more photographs, cycling and spending time with those I love.

Having shared flats in New Zealand, Australia and in the UK, I know what to expect and what's expected of me. I'm outgoing, friendly, considerate and tidy.

An ideal flatmate/s would be those with similar interests and experiences who want to create a home. To me it's most important that we get along - support each other, take care of our home, and enjoy each other's company.
