Spacious room in Maida Vale

Heya!

We are Claudia (28) and Isabel, (33) and we are looking for a new roommate (similar age). We have available, from Monday 5th of August, a bright and spacious double room on the top floor of a Victorian house, located between Maida Vale and Maida Hill.

Details about the room:
- One of the walls is a massive fitted wardrobe top to bottom, left to right with a mirror and dressing table. Rail to hang clothes on the left side, shelves on the right side.
- Room comes with bed, mattress, bedside table, chair and dressing table. (Not exactly the same as in the picture)
- This bedroom is located in the top floor of the flat, (7 set of stairs) next to the bathroom, opposite to another tenant bedroom and in perpendicular to the kitchen.

Details about the rest of the house:
- The kitchen is big enough for three people. We all have 2 cupboards each and the rest are shared: pans, cutlery, crockery, cleaning products etc. It is fully equipped with kettle, blender, microwave, toaster, oven and gas stove. Also washing machine and 1 fridge.
- Bathroom (1) is also very clean and tidy, you will have your space to leave your skincare products and toiletries.
- With you, we’ll be a total of 3 roommates.
- THERE IS NOT living room, all our social life occurs in the kitchen.
- No pets allowed.
- Smoking is not allowed in the premises.
- Council tax, currently around £1115 per year paid monthly between three.
- Gas, water and electricity paid together every three months, it varies between summer and winter. From £50 per person to £150 every 3 months. You will be charged pro rata next time.
- Internet is included in the rent.
- 1 month deposit and first month in advance.

About you:
As you can see, communal areas (kitchen and bathroom) are quite clean and tidy. We are looking for someone who is able to maintain tidiness and cleans after itself. We clean ourselves, we don’t have private cleaners.
We are also looking for someone respectful, that likes to socialize, cooking, have a chat…basically someone who is going to add value to the experience of sharing a flat.

About us:
We are Claudia (Italian) and Isabel (Spanish), we met here as roomies two years ago. We both work from home most part of the week but occasionally go to the office.
Claudia likes to go for long walks in Hampstead Heath , go to the cinema and have the occasional drink.
Isabel likes cooking and going to the gym, and will try to persuade you to join some sort of dancing class.
Sadly, because we don’t have living room, we spend lots of time on our own rooms, but we enjoy a chat in the kitchen and the occasional picnic in the park with some wine and snacks or a cinema session.

About the area:
The house is very well located because, you have Maida Vale station (Bakerloo Line) 10 minutes walk east, with a Starbucks, Gails, some pubs and small restaurants. And if you like walking, you could walk to Marble Arch in 45min.
Westbourne Park (Hammersmith and City, and Circle line) is also 10 minutes walk west. A little bit further from there, you will be in Portobello road. Or you could get to Golborne Road in 15 minutes with plenty of cafes, restaurants and vintage shops.
We have Paddington Recreation Ground 5-minute walk from the house if you like to run.
