From Kennington station its only an 8 minute ride to the West end/City and only 3 minutes to Waterloo. The area also has 43 buses and night buses with short bus journeys to Camberwell, Westminster, coven garden and Kings cross.

AREA
The flat is around the corner from the charming Walworth High Street with its selection of shops, Tesco, Morrisons, Superdrug, Argos, Marks and Spencer and various bars and pubs. The famous East Street market is 10 minute walk and Burgess Park is 5 minute walk and has skating classes, a fishing lake, and tennis courts.

Southark council also offers its residents fee gym use and swimming in its leisure centres every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Culture wise, the area has many museums nearby including The Imperial War Museum, Tate Modern, Hayward Gallery and National Film Museum. The Imax cinema is a short bus journey as well as the London eye and Brixon which has many clubs and restaurants.
