Bright Double Room in Harringay

The communal living room

This double room is available in a bright and sunny two bed flat, superbly located at the bottom of Harringay Ladder. The flat has high ceilings, an open plan living room/kitchen, and a decently sized shared bathroom. The room has a north-facing window and comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, and a small bookcase. It also has space for a larger bookcase or a small desk (previous flatmates have fit one in there with no problem!).

The area is lively and full of wonderful charity shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, and pretty walks. The flat is a stone's throw away from a large Sainsburys, an Aldi, and a ton of corner shops, and the transport options are ideal. We're a two minute walk to excellent bus routes (29, 141, 341) and Harringay Overground, a seven minute walk to Harringay Train station, and a ten minute walk to Manor House. Finsbury Park station is also very close by. Our neighbours are quiet and our landlord is also very helpful. I've lived in this flat for five years, and it really feels like home!

My current wonderful flatmate needs to leave, so we need someone to take her place in August. I'm looking for someone friendly, tidy, and chilled, who enjoys a good balance of hanging out and also doing their own thing. I'm also preferably looking for someone who is not regularly WFH.

A little about me: I finished my PhD in English Literature last autumn, and now work as a library reference specialist. I love to cook, read, and hike, and am always happy to share a meal, watch some TV, or go for a pint!

Wifi and utilities are around £55 a month total + Council Tax (Band C)
