I have a large garden facing room available to rent in a maisonette, it features a king size bed, floor to ceiling built-in cupboards with mirror, a chest of drawers for storage (and drawers also built into the bed), chair, bench, and numerous plug sockets. The bedroom has been fitted with a door lock should you want more privacy and security. Newly renovated bathroom with shower, bath, and cupboards for storage.

The kitchen and living room are open plan, with a few spare cupboards for kitchen storage; washing machine is in the kitchen.

The garden comes complete with an artificial lawn; smoking is allowed in the garden (no smoking indoors).

This is a former 5* Airbnb eco property, I try as much as possible to be environmentally friendly, I recycle all my plastics & paper, use a compost bin for food waste, recycle my cotton pads & kitchen sponges, use a minimal amount of cleaning products, and use biodegradable poo bags for the fur kids. I have MCAS so avoid aerosols & perfumes at home (also have 2 very sensitive pets with skin issues), so would like a flatmate who is also able to do this, but don’t worry I don’t expect you to also be an eco warrior, only for recycling as it’s easy to do.

I share my space with a few cats, one in particular is very dog-like, he loves people and cuddles. I also have a Thai rescue dog who is more like a cat and very independent. They range in ages from 11 to 19 years old, so are pretty chilled and mostly nap a lot these days…except for the dog-like cat who demands daily cuddles.

Towels and clean bed linen are provided. All household products are included in the price (toilet paper, washing up liquid, hand wash, cleaning products), as well as WIFI, council tax, water, electricity and gas bills.

The property is walking distance from West Brompton (the closest), Fulham Broadway and Earls Court, all around 10 mins. The area is also close to many coffee shops, restaurants, gyms (Virgin, Pure Gym, David Lloyd, F45 Training), Vue cinema…a fruit & vegs market on North End Road…and plenty of hairdressers and acupuncturists!

A bit about me: I’m an artist and former adrenaline junkie (think Spartan and Tough Mudder obstacle course runs & triathlons). Now into mindfulness, meditation, health, nature, learning, travelling, art & photography exhibitions, and lots of things in between. Used to work with dogs in rehabilitation, and was also a Medical Interpreter, Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer.
