Double room to rent in Dalston

The room

Hello! My housemate and I (both 27M) are looking for a flat mate to fill a room in our flat in Dalston / De Beauvoir in August.

The flat is a maisonette with a large lounge, large kitchen, 1 bathroom + 1 toilet and a south facing balcony. The flat is nice, but slightly rough around the edges (think a bit above nice student house level). It is a 3 minute walk from Dalston Junction overground station and an 8 minute walk from Dalston Kingsland, there are many bus routes as well. It’s situated on a side road on a super quiet estate, with a nice green view from the balcony. There’s a gym and a pub at the end of the road, and Dalston has everything you need amenities wise.

The price of the room is £760 per month excluding bills (100-150). It is a small room, with a double bed, and a small desk. Storage is fairly limited, primarily under the bed and the current occupant has a clothes rail (which will be left if wanted). Windows are very large and south-facing so the room gets great light. It comes with furniture as seen, excluding the mirror.

My housemate (Louis) and I are both 27 working office jobs in the city. We’ve been in the flat for 2 years and love it, you will be replacing our friend who has also been here 2 years and is moving in with his girlfriend. Atmosphere in the flat is very relaxed so we’re looking for someone to fit in to that - we spend a lot of time together in the lounge. Our biggest drinking days are behind us slightly, but we’re sociable, especially at the weekends.

We’re looking to meet people in the 1st week of July with a view to getting things moving on references ASAP.
