Friendly house by Clapham Common

There's a room available in a 5-bed house share around the corner from Clapham Common! I'm leaving because I'm buying my own place, but after 3 years I am genuinely sad to say goodbye to the girls here! I've built some life-long friendships here and I'm truly excited for whoever gets to live with these girls next!

A bit of admin: The monthly rent for the room is between £770-£800 (depending on the time of year), which covers all bills, including council tax, water, electricity, gas, wi-fi, TV, and a weekly cleaner (for the communal areas only). I'm planning to be moved out on 26th July, so we're looking for someone to move in from 27th July. Please also note that to pass referencing with the landlord you need to be able to prove an annual income of over £23,000.

About the room and house: The room comes furnished with a bed frame, mattress, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There is also plenty of room for a desk if you work from home. You'll share a bathroom with just one other housemate. The place is a Victorian terraced house with tonnes of character and an incredible amount of space (including a basement for storage). We have a lovely garden, a spacious eat-in kitchen, and it's in a stellar location mid-way between Clapham Common tube, Clapham Junction station and Northcote Road.

About the current housemates: You'll be joining four wonderful housemates, and we really are like a family. We're all working professionals with our own things going on, but we try to get together as much as possible for "family dinners," movie nights, and casual weekend afternoons at the pub or a wander out for coffee and cake. We are not a party house; we respect each other's space and also work hard to keep a tidy household.
