Double Room Friendly Flatshare w/Garden, Clapham

Hello and welcome to our ad!

After 1.5 years, our lovely flatmate Jenny is unfortunately (for us) moving back to Ireland so Gabrielle and I are in the lookout for a new person to come live with us.

The flat is a 3-bedroom converted Victorian house with a massive shared garden (middle floor out of 3). We also have a small balcony, living room and 1 bathroom (we tend to wake up at different times, so it never really is an issue in the mornings). The room a large double bed that comes fully furnished (There are some small things like desk, chair etc. that Jenny might be wanting to let go of).

A bit about us: We are both in our early 30s, Gabrielle is Australian and has been living in the flat for 6 months (we were lucky to find her in Spareroom too) and I am Spanish and have been living in the house for 5 years. I am Gay which makes it an LGBT+ house (you don’t have to be but worth pointing out).

We have independent lives and are respectful of each other’s space but we like to have a friendly house to come back to where we can have a nice chat whilst we are cooking/watching TV if we are up for it. We are looking for a like-minded individual who is friendly, respectful and likes to keep the house in a decent condition. Also worth noting, this is definitely not a party house!

A bit about the area: We are 2 mins walk from both Clapham North Station and Clapham overground on a quiet road that goes into Clapham High Street. The area is packed with restaurants, cinemas, parks, gyms, pubs and clubs both in Clapham and in Brixton.
Boring bits:
- Rent: £950
- Bills: approx.. £150 per month
- Deposit: £950
- You will sign up an individual contract with our landlord Nigel. He has been great with us through the years and is always very quick when we have had any issues or things that needed fixing around the house.
