Double Room just off Brick Lane

Hi there!

Our housemate Lucia has decided to move out and therefore we are looking for someone to fill the emotional and financial void she’s leaving behind!

We are:
India - a 31 year old east london hipster girlie, originally from the mean streets of Vienna, who is currently working for a charity in Notting Hill. She loves her plants and herbs, her dish & glassware, interior designing the house, a margarita, a good movie & book and the farmers market on the weekend. She’s a semi vegan and very into a zero waste life style.

Sophie - a 28 year old Canadian who works in children’s theatre (and is as wholesome as that sounds). When not rushing out to different arts events and shows, she can be found reading, painting, cookin’ veggie food, and rearranging the plants in her room.

Kiran - a 28 year old designer/ art director working in health & wellness advertising. When he’s not working (which is never) he loves to hang out with his friends, show everyone photos of his dog Lord Chai Chuckington and a good beach.

We are looking for someone social, who is interested in being part of ‘the family’ and who is looking for a home rather than just a place to crash.

We want someone who is clean and tidy!!! (and we mean it). Soph and India are working in the office and Kiran is working hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days at home). We are happy for someone to work from home but no more than 2 days a week.

The house is a 4 bedroom, 3 storey townhouse with a garden (those with green thumbs encouraged!) and small living room located right off brick lane. The room available is a big, sunny double room with a double bed, a small book shelf and a wardrobe. It’s a very quiet and green street. The room is available from the 15th July. We’re on a contract with a decent private landlord until December (who’s okay with changing tenants if you move out earlier, as long as you fill your room). We’re intending to renew the contract once it’s done!

We love hosting a house or cocktail garden party here and there and love making use of the fire pit.

Rent and all bills come to £985/month, including a weekly delivery of fresh veg!
