We have a lovely double spare room available in a typical council house flat just off Brick Lane, one of the best locations for being well-connected to the city and great flatmates ✌️

THE FLAT 🏡
It’s a 3-bedroom flat with a big living room full of plants and space, and a balcony, shared with clean and friendly flatmates who love to cook and watch films together. What else can you ask for in Zone 1?

THE ROOM 🛏
West-oriented room with a comfy queen-size mattress. The room has a double bed, a wardrobe and 2 chests of drawers. It gets lovely afternoon light. The current tenant doesn’t taste for decoration, but we can help you reorganize it.

THE KITCHEN 🥘
Fully equipped kitchen (stove-top, oven, microwave, toaster, and washing machine), central heater, and a new boiler.

THE LIVING ROOM 🛋
Big living room with a sofa and a sofa bed, TV, dining table, and plants! 🪴 We hope to have nice Netflix nights or dinners sometimes, or at least a bit of cozy vibes.

Bathroom & WC 🛀 + 🚽
The bathtub and sink are separated from the toilet.

THE ATMOSPHERE ✨

We are looking for someone who is open and would make the place feel like a home. The new flatmate should be social and open to enjoying the flat and the shenanigans in the house (NO ROOM RATS, PLEASE!). It is important to be respectful, clean (cleaning rota is not optional), tidy, and considerate of other flatmates, with previous experience sharing a flat, and with a genuine sense of empathy and a desire to integrate into a nice home.
We are also looking for someone mature in their mind but fun in their heart, who doesn't skip cleaning shifts and tries to keep the flat nice for everyone. Someone who understands that a greasy pan is not clean (if you get this, you know what we are talking about).

ABOUT US 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️
We are a 35-year-old Spanish guy (product designer) and a 25-year-old Portuguese girl (NHS worker) with 9-to-5 jobs and some WFH time. We love specialty coffee, arts, music, and going to gigs or clubs sometimes. Both of us are creative and always keen to learn new things, chat about our days, travel, discuss politics, and share experiences. We smoke (on the balcony).
If sharing dinner, cooking together, and having some drinks is what you value in a flat, then this will be a place for you.

BILLS 💸
Bills are around £85pm/each approx (includes everything - Council tax, electricity, water, gas, and internet) with some slight fluctuations (We actually think we are going to pay a bit less because of the reduction cost of gas and electricity)

By the way, we have a really good relationship with our landlord.
