Hello,
I have an entire one bedroom flat available to rent (short term lets only, so all furnishings and bills are included). I will be temporarily moving out so am looking to rent the whole place out from early July, for two months (eight weeks). The flat is available from 5 July. It's large and airy, and stylishly decorated, and has a large balcony (double the normal length).
The main room is an open plan kitchen and lounge, and the kitchen is large with lots of cupboards and a new induction hob. The bedroom has a double bed with a comfortable and firm reflex foam mattress with feather mattress topper, a large built in wardrobe, and a chest of drawers (as well as interior shutters). The bathroom has a combined bath and shower- with a good quality shower head.
There is central heating but you won’t need it much as the flat is new so is naturally well insulated and very warm (but easy to cool down as the windows and doors to balcony are so large). There's a good quality plug in fan to keep things cool if the weather is warm.
It’s in a secure apartment block just off Blackhorse Lane, and is 10 minutes’ walk from Blackhorse Road station (which offers both the Victoria line tube- 24hrs at the weekends- and the Gospel Oak (Hampstead Heath) to Barking overground train. It’s on the 2nd floor, and has a lift. The neighbours are quiet and the sound insulation is great, so I rarely hear anyone. The building is in an apartment complex away from any main roads so you do not hear any traffic noise.
The Blackhorse Road neighbourhood is the new up and coming area within Walthamstow- there is a great selection of eateries within five mins of the flat (including Wood Street Coffee, Slowburn, Tavern on the Hill, Wild Grains sourdough bakery, and Armstrong Audio), as well as lots of artists' workshops and the amazing Walthamstow Wetlands just up the road (also five mins walk). In the industrial estate on the opposite side of Blackhorse Lane you'll find the Blackhorse Mile- a collection of 8 local breweries with taprooms to drink in.
The beautiful Lloyd Park is 10 mins walk- which includes the William Morris Gallery, and often hosts brilliant local festivals and events.
You can also walk into Walthamstow Central in 25 mins, or it takes about 10 mins using the bus (the bus stop is 5 mins or less away).
The flat is my home so I am looking for someone responsible, professional and respectful to live in it. The flat comes with a lot of my things in it- furniture, books, all crockery and kitchenware etc- so it will suit someone who doesn't have much stuff other than clothes. There is a large built-in wardrobe for all your clothes, and a chest of drawers. I can also provide a duvet, bed linens and towels if you need them.
I am available for viewings from Wednesday 26 June onwards, please message me if you're interested in setting one up.
