We are a group of LGBT+ students at Winchester University looking for a roommate for our house on Romsey Road ASAP, as we have had someone drop out of our contract last minute! The vacant room is room 5 (see bedroom 5 on the floor plan and the first image).
The deposit and first month's rent (£1,340.40) is due AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, with the first move-in date being August 15th. From September onwards, the rent is due monthly (£686.60). The contract lasts for a full standard year (August - August) instead of the academic year.
We are looking for someone who is accepting both of LGBTQ+ people and neurodivergent people, as we are all some flavour of both! The house is minutes from the West Downs campus, and only a 10 minute walk from the rest of the university, so a great location for students. There is a garden and communal kitchen and living room area, as well as 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath/shower combined.
We are in council tax band C, but if you are a full time student, you of course don't need to pay that.
