AFFORDABLE accommodation offered in Pinner, Harrow, London, HA5 area, excellent opportunity for a male homesharer who is looking to live in a beautiful home with some period features.

We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, where we find Homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help/support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.

TRANSPORT
• Pinner Underground (Metropolitan Line) is 13 min bus ride
• Hatch End Rail Station (Overground) is 6 min walk
• Headstone Lane Rail Station (Overground) is 7 min bus ride.
• Busses stop 2-3 min walk from property.

HOUSEHOLDER
A lovely, colourful and an extrovert lady in her 80’s, lives in a 3-bedroom 2nd floor apartment in Pinner, Harrow, London.
The lady has a great support network with family, friends and carers which provide some level of support already but would like a homesharer for that extra reassurance. Support with some of her day to day living when required and an overnight presence in the house is a high priority.
The lady is now a retired English graduate and English teacher who led an active life but now has mobility and health complications. She currently walks with a walking frame and only goes out for short walks when accompanied. She feels having a homesharer would enable her to enhance her daily routine so she can continue living in her own property independently.
The householder is very sociable, colourful, and describes herself as an extrovert, and enjoys company, due to her health she lives in a house that is always well heated. She enjoys nature, literature, current affairs, and television. Occasionally has family members visiting and staying from Australia, but with three bedrooms is able to accommodate.

The ideal homesharer would be male or female aged between 35 - 45, speaks English with no heavy accents, is intellectual and can hold a conversation, a mature, single professional with a car.
Someone who will be happy to accompany her for short walks.
Someone who is nice, caring, understanding, kind and compassionate, tidy. Can offer a little companionship at times but space when required. will be able to accompany to some appointments. Overnight security being of high importance.
ACCOMMODATION
Small but cosy and modern 3-bedroom, 2nd floor apartment. All on one level.
Large lounge with television/dining area, kitchen with plenty of storage, 2 bathrooms, has a parking space (if required) and a south facing balcony. The whole apartment is decorated modernly and comfortable.
Good WiFi connection throughout.

The Homesharer will have the smaller room of the three first floor consisting of a single bed, (will provide a television if required) with wardrobes and additional cupboard space if required.
Use of the shared family bathroom.
shared use of front living/dining area, kitchen and balcony.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The room is available May 2024 subject to DBS, Reference, and ID checks and after an initial homesharer interview has been organised.
