We're looking for a friendly professional female flatmate to join our lovely N. London home. It's a spacious 3-bedroom Victorian maisonette in Bush Hill Park, with a large shared lounge, a big bathroom and a good-sized modern kitchen with lots of cupboard space.
Bush Hill park is a quiet residential area between Winchmore Hill and Enfield. It is well connected to central London by a frequent overground train service; the station is a 1-min wallk from the flat.
I’m a full time secondary school teacher and I’ve been at this flat with my current flatmate for 4 years. I greatly value the peaceful and quiet environment of our home; I’m clean and tidy and respectful and I’m looking for someone who is of a similar nature. My flatmate Paul describes me as friendly and kind.
He uses the 3rd bedroom at the flat, but only 3 evenings a week - normally Monday to Wednesdays when he’s in London for work. So for most of the week it’ll be just two people in the flat. He is very similar in nature to me; quiet, friendly and very respectful.
When he is at the flat for work, he leaves early and showers at work. I have a regular routine which stays roughly the same everyday: I use the bathroom around 6am before I leave for work at 7am; I shower at night, usually between 8-9pm. I will also be respectful of your routines.
Ideally we're looking for someone who is similar to us; a working professional who is looking for a peaceful and tidy home, and is happy to contribute to keeping the shared spaces clean.
The room itself is a large double room (5m x 3m) with a double bed and lots of built in wardrobe space.
The rent is £750 per month including all bills.
The flat is ideally located for commuting into London; being less than a 1-minute walk to Bush Hill Park overground station, where trains depart to C. London every 15 mins during peak hours. It's a 12-minute journey to get to the Victoria line (which serves Kings Cross, Euston, Oxford Circus) or just 25 minutes direct to Hackney or Liverpool Street.
The area is quiet with beautiful parks, a Cineworld Cinema and lots of places to eat out.
