Unfurnished Central Bristol Room (Professional)

Hey y’all! Were two professionals (26 and 29) lookin’ for a third housemate to join us in our flat from July onwards with the latest start being the beginning of August. The room is unfurnished and the flat is in Stokes Croft 5 minutes from the bus station. Rent is £565 a month, with Council Tax at £55 each and Bills (gas, electric, water and wifi) currently being another £62 altogether, pretty much one of the best prices you’ll find for the centre 🙂

About Us: We are both male professionals with one of us working in Computer Services and the other being a Martial Arts Coach and Retail Worker training to become a Counsellor. Were both pretty chill but like a good night out on occasion, usually to somewhere a bit alt like a rock night or a gig as were both metalheads. Were also both musicians, with one of us producing and one of us being a frontman for a Grunge/Punk band (Murderhobos if you’re interested 😬). One of us is also vegetarian, with the other being a meat eater

What Were Looking For: Were looking for a fellow professional (no students sadly) with a reliable income between 25-35 who above all is respectful and a good communicator. We’ve both had negative experiences living with housemates who have not been good at communicating over the years, and so are looking for someone with empathy, who understands that regular, respectful communication is what a keeps a house dope 💪 We also both like to keep a fairly clean house in terms of the communal areas, so would be looking for someone who would be willing to do their share of chores and clean up after themselves, not leave food out etc. Were also looking for someone who is LGBTQIA+ friendly, with left leaning values (no TERFs, SWERFs or bigots). Other ideals would be someone who’s into music, either as a musician themselves or a fan, as it’s quite a musical house. We both like the rock/metal side of things but also vibe with quite a few different genres, and do like to practice/play our own music at times in our rooms (within respectful hours). We’d also like to find someone who’s down for communal flat meals, movie nights etc. We both like our own space when we need it but also enjoy hangin’ out and chilling when our social batteries are more charged. We don’t want someone who’s out on the lash every night, bringin’ people home at all hours, but also don’t want someone who’s gonna isolate themselves the entire time either. Someone who likes time to themselves but also wants to hang out and engage in communal stuff as well would be ideal. Another vegetarian would also be preferable, but this wouldn’t be a dealbreaker (although someone who is respectful of vegetarian vibes is essential).
