The room had a king size double bed with your own en-suite (shower, toilet and basin) and is equipped with 2 x bedside drawers and 2 x touch lamps, a 4 drawer unit and ample wardrobe space with shelves and storage compartments. The room also has mini fridge with a small freezer compartment. The room is immaculately presented, bright and airy.
This house/room is situated in a small quiet cul-de-sac of 5 houses. A forty five minute commuter link to London Euston. It is surrounded by lovely views of Dunstable Downs. The room will suit a professional single person looking for their own space and privacy. You will also have a dedicated parking space for 1 vehicle in front of the double garage of the property.
Access to the room is via the main house front door (key supplied)…. You will walk into the downstairs hallway, up the stairs to the hall landing where you then access your private room.
Weekend use of washing machine, and tumble dryer (fair usage applies and monitored). Use of garden space with fantastic views are also welcome, respecting your privacy at all times. Smoking is allowed in the garden only.
If required, am happy to discuss any reasonable requirements to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Use of kitchen for cooking can be discussed.
The local towns are Dunstable (10 minuets drive) and Leighton Buzzard (10 minute drive). There are 2 local connivence stores located in the villages of Eaton Bray and Edlesborough which are no more than a 5 minute drive away, The is also a village pub ‘The Swan’ serving delicious food and beverages which is 3 minutes walk up the road..
The closest local bus and train service run from both Tring and Leighton Buzzard. Tring train station is a 13 minute drive and can have you arrive at Euston in 45 minutes. From Leighton Buzzard train station, the distance and times are much the same.
About the Landlord.
I am a IT professional who prides himself on cleanliness and tidiness. My work is hybrid so do work from home occasionally. I have a 18 year old son stay over occasionally, I am polite, courteous, approachable and respect of ones privacy at all times.
Secure the room: with one months holding deposit (min term), and one months payment in advance upon move in date. Future rental payment expected 30 days from occupation for each coming month.
You will also need to provide:
**2 x references (existing landlord/accommodation and a personal reference)
**3 months pay slips or bank statements
**ID - driving licence or passport
Lodger agreement will be supplied and initial deposit held as security in line with lodgers agreement terms.
