THE APARTMENT:
Is on the ground floor, with the front entrance via a side alleyway. It's great having a discreet entrance off the main road. Definitely more secure.
The apartment itself is part of a Georgian semi-detached house. The street is lovely and quiet.
You would be located only a 10-min walk to the town centre, a 12-min walk to the Embankment and a 12-min walk to Bedford Park.
Overall, the apartment is well located for accessing things by foot. I got by without owning a car for a long time. That said, if you do own a car there’s plenty of street parking that does not require a permit. I rarely have difficulty parking my car.
The kitchen is already fully stocked but there’s plenty of spare cupboards for your food, cooking equipment, plates, bowls, etc. I have a good sized fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
The apartment has a cosy living room, which features a home cinema set-up and comfy sofa.
THE BEDROOM:
The walls and ceiling have recently been re-painted, and new windows and blinds fitted. I’ve also added nice retro furnishings. The wardrobe is large and has a full mirror on the inside of one door.
The bed is a low Japanese-style platform frame from the Futon Company, with a memory foam mattress and topper from John Lewis. Meaning it's super comfy.
I'M LOOKING FOR:
A student or professional who is out working during the day. The reason being that I work from home 3-4 days a week, and would therefore make for a nicer dynamic if we didn't both WFH.
Please note: that my share of the bills are higher on the assumption that I'll be WFH and consuming more energy. The monthly amount is inclusive of ALL bills (Wi-Fi, energy, water, etc).
I'm open to short-terms lets for a minimum of 3-months. I’m open to a Mon-Fri arrangements at a reduced £PCM rate.
I’m NOT open to couples, pets and those without a regular monthly income.
A BIT ABOUT ME:
I'm an advertising professional. I travel into my London-based agency 1 or 2 times a week. Overall, I'm a pretty low-key guy. I like going to the gym, eating reasonably well, relaxing as much as possible after work. I'm always up for chats, watching a movie, playing Fifa or whatever. My preference would always be to have a friendly, social relationship with whoever I live with, but I totally respect one's need for privacy. If you like quality TV and Films I'm sure we'll get along! The home cinema set up is 👌.
HOUSEKEEPING:
One thing that's a non-negotiable is tidiness. The apartment is a pleasant and comfortable space. It’s essential that we’d both keep common areas (bathroom, kitchen and living room) clean and tidy on a daily basis. Just doing the basics such as cleaning and tidying up after oneself is all that’s expected.
I'm relaxed about having friends over, but if you're having someone staying the night I'd want to just be aware in advance. I would always do the same in return, of course.
If this all sounds good, or if I can answer any questions, please do feel free to send me a message and I'll respond as soon as I can. Thank you.
