New PhD student seeking housemates or room

Hi! I'm Kate, I'm from Glasgow and I am due to start a PhD in space physics in September. I'm hoping to live with other graduate students or young professionals in either an existing house share or to look for a whole house/flat together. Looking primarily in the Portswood area but will consider a bit further from Highfield campus too. I'll make the move South in September, but will consider paying rent from an earlier date for the right living situation.

About me: I love to get outdoors, camping, walking, wildlife etc as well as indoor bouldering (and possibly roped climbing if I'm feeling brave...). You'll also find me curled up with a book or my latest crochet project. I'm kind of an ambivert - I love spending time with friends and as a housemate I'd be up for movie nights/games nights/cooking together - but not keen on big parties etc and need my quiet time.

Unfortunately I am asthmatic and can't live with pets or smokers. I also have a couple of close trans/non-binary friends and am queer myself so potential housemates absolutely must be LGBTQ+ friendly.
