Flexible short let whilst buying solo

I am a late 30s financial professional who works near Farringdon, who currently goes into the office, in Farringdon, five days a week and will only work from home in emergencies.

My landlord is sadly selling the flat where I’ve previously lived for over ten years so it’s time for me to move on. However I am in the very fortunate position of buying my own flat solo and have had an offer accepted on a place in Sydenham, South East London! I probably therefore will only need a room for a few months whilst all the legal stuff goes through and am flexible on location.

I am a quiet and easygoing individual who normally keeps to his own self, a big fan of football and rugby and very well travelled (I've been to over 40 countries so far).

The house and household that I’d most like to live in would be a quiet sanctuary to spend my time in after a busy and demanding day at work. However I would be happy to hang out with my new housemates maybe a couple of days a week so would prefer a more social property, somewhere which will feel like home instead of just a place to sleep. I require a shared living room, a double bed and parking for a car.
