Professional Female looking for a double room

I'll be starting a new job mid August in Bedford as a vet and I'm looking for a new place to live. Either a large room, shared apartment or studio would be great. I am happy to provide my own furniture (keen to keep my own mattress as it's comfy). Preferably wanting to stay in the Bedford area, but can look into the surrounding towns if a room fulfils my needs.
I'm clean and tidy and can usually be found in my room with headphones on if I'm not working. I am a sociable person, but also value some alone time too. I do have a partner who I would like to stay over once or twice a month (long distance relationship currently and vice versa I would be visiting him) so a place that is okay with visitors is a must.
