Sunny Hanover House!🌞🌿✨

Hello! 🌞I am looking to fill two rooms in my place :)

The rooms are both double bedrooms (one slightly smaller than the other but the smaller one faces the garden) with hardwood floors lots of natural light! Rent is £630 plus bills which are usually around £110 each. Rental period is officially June 9 but you can probably move your stuff in earlier.

A quick bit about me:

I’m from the US 🇺🇸 but have been living abroad since 2018. I backpacked/ lived in New Zealand 🇳🇿and Australia 🦘before moving to London to get my Masters in Film Directing.

I work in media/ the arts. I currently do a few freelance roles that are remote. The rest of my time is pursing various artistic endeavors. I’m currently directing a show for the fringe and love being involved in the theatre community in Brighton. I go up to London a lot for short film shoots as well. My old flatmate does stand-up and I really enjoy seeing her shows! 🎞️🎭

I love to be social in a balanced way. I love to have friendly chats with flatmates and do the occasional dinner/ film night but I’m also not a big partier, and need a relatively chill and quiet space to work from home. I don’t work from home everyday, and when I do it’s usually from my bedroom but need a generally quiet day-time space. Overall I hope to create a warm and welcoming home environment 😊

As a flatmate I value direct communication, and empathy. I’m relatively clean/ tidy and try to be considerate of shared spaces but am understanding that life happens and won’t sweat the occasional dish pile-up. Happy to chat through whatever needs you have for the space and find a good system that works.

I also want to be upfront, I will be in the house this summer but am planning on subleasing my room in September for a year for visa reasons. So if anyone has a friend in mind for that- let me know!

A bit about the house: 🏡

The house has a shared open kitchen/ living room, cute back garden (which admittedly needs a little TLC,) a huge bathroom upstairs with a bathtub/ shower, and a smaller bathroom downstairs. The bedrooms will mostly be unfurnished, but the rest of the house is furnished. Happy for you to put your stamp on the space and bring in whatever furniture/ art/ plants you want for the communal areas 🪴
